Their selection of Japanese tea includes primarily deep-steamed tea from Kakegawa, Shizuoka, as well as local tea like Ashigara-cha. The tea is known for its rich sweetness which is characteristic of deep-steamed tea. In 2021, to commemorate their 360th anniversary, they introduced an original blended sencha called “Hei Hachi.” This blend combines three distinct varieties: Yabukita, Saemidori, and Asatsuyu.
