Specializing in matcha drinks with unique menu

Kotobukiseian Chashitsu(Kanda, Tokyo)

Located in Tokyo’s Kanda area is Kotobukiseian Chashitsu, a specialty shop for matcha drinks. This shop opened in 2020 as an offshoot of the popular matcha crepe specialty shop Kotobukiseian in Asakusa.

The charm of Kotobukiseian Chashitsu lies in its diverse range of matcha drinks, all made using stone-ground matcha. From classic matcha lattes to unique offerings like “Mazetan,” a shake-style matcha drink inspired by traditional Japanese sweets, and “Zerittan,” a matcha jelly drink, there’s a wide selection. They also serve matcha sweets like “Matcha Rare Cheesecake.”

The shop offers a spacious layout spread across three floors, from the first floor to the third. The second-floor features raised tatami seating and comfortable sofa seats, while the third floor offers an open terrace seating area.

Whether you want to enjoy matcha and relax or need a place to concentrate on work (with Wi-Fi available), this place is ideal. With a convenient 2-minute walk from JR Kanda Station, the accessibility and versatility of the space are truly appealing.
