Yamakichi is a specialty store for Japanese tableware located along Kaminarimon Street in Asakusa, Tokyo. With over 100 years of history, this venerable shop offers products sourced from pottery production areas all across Japan.

Their selection of teapots, with a focus on Tokoname ware, is particularly extensive. They feature teapots crafted by renowned artisans representing Tokoname, which is known as the largest teapot production region. At the same time, they also offer reasonably priced Tokoname teapots in the 3000 yen range.
In addition to teapots, Yamakichi provides a rich variety of tableware, including Arita ware and Shimizu ware matcha bowls, teacups, and mugs.
