The tea is made using premium tea leaves blended by longstanding tea merchants from Shizuoka, Kyoto, and Kagoshima—renowned tea-producing regions in Japan. The menu features a selection of 12 teas, including sencha, hojicha, and Japanese black tea. Each tea comes with a teapot and a hot water pot, allowing you to brew and enjoy the evolving flavors through first, second, and third infusions at your own pace.
Providing variety of menus
For the food menu, an emphasis is placed on dashi (broth), with the use of additive-free and domestically sourced ingredients. Body-friendly options like ochazuke (tea over rice) and nabe (hot pot) sets are available. A recommended dish is the “12 Kinds of Obanzai Set.” It offers a selection of 12 healthy side dishes, including vegetables, tofu, and meat, seasoned with the café’s signature dashi. The rice is a special tea-infused rice cooked with hojicha and azuki beans.
The signature favorite at Kagurazaka Saryo is the “Saryo parfait.” It’s a matcha-filled parfait consisting of matcha ice cream, jelly, and pudding.
Additionally, there’s a wide range of tea-infused sweets and desserts, such as Mont Blanc matcha parfait, matcha cheesecake tart, and Mont Blanc tart, all highlighting the café’s dedication to tea-infused delights.
