SOKI ATAMI, a hot spring inn located in Atami, Shizuoka. Nestled in the serene backdrop of Atami surrounded by lush greenery, it opened its doors in November 2020. Embraced by a warm sense of hospitality, it serves as a place where anyone can rediscover their true selves.

The inn offers 54 rooms across 10 different types, including rooms with views of Atami Bay and rooms overlooking the greenery.

Designed with natural materials to evoke a sense of warmth, each room is equipped with its own hot spring bath.

In each room, guests are provided with two types of tea: sencha and seasonal tea. With teapots and teacups available, guests can fully enjoy their tea time at their leisure. The majority of Japanese tea served in the guest rooms, dining areas, and tea room is crafted by the Shizuoka tea manufacturer Kaneka Kitagawa Seicha.

On the top floor, there’s a tea room that overlooks Atami Bay.

Here, they offer traditional Chinese herbal tea that is believed to enhance the body’s natural healing abilities. Guests can select from Shizuoka-produced sencha(green tea), genmaicha (brown rice tea), and Japanese black tea, which are blended with Chinese herbal ingredients carefully chosen by experts.

The tea room also serves tea cocktails, such as the “Wakan Gin & Tonic” and “Sencha Gin & Tonic,” which incorporate Chinese herbal elements. There are also limited-time drinks featuring local citrus fruit like daidai (orange), a specialty of Atami. These beverages are known for their gentle effects on the body, and enjoying them while gazing out at Atami Bay creates a truly unique experience.

In the open-kitchen dining area with a charcoal hearth, guests can savor dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients sourced directly from local fishermen and farmers.

Surrounded by picturesque nature, SOKI ATAMI offers an extraordinary lodging experience that encourages guests to be themselves.
