TEA TATAMO is located about a 5-minute walk from Tokyu Denentoshi Line’s Sangenjaya Station, along National Route 246. It is a Japanese tea cafe produced by a tatami shop. As you would expect from a cafe affiliated with a tatami shop, they’ve placed tatami benches inside, allowing you to experience the scent and texture of tatami while enjoying your tea time.
At TEA TATAMO, they offer organic Japanese tea drinks and carefully crafted sweets that are gentle on the body. The tea they use comes from the organic Japanese tea powder brand “NODOKA,” which utilizes pesticide-free tea leaves from Shizuoka. They provide a variety of teas including sencha, hojicha, genmaicha, and straight matcha tea. Additionally, they offer drinks like matcha lattes made with organic milk.
Their menu also features popular items like dorayaki (a Japanese dessert filled with sweet red bean paste), which pair well with the tea offerings.
